What is the "Information concerning Notification of the Continuation of Pension Benefits"?

It is the postcard that informs you that resources for your pension benefits have been transferred to the Pension Fund Association when you seceded from your corporate pension plan (i.e., when you left an employer company).
The "Information concerning Notification of the Continuation of Pension Benefits" includes such information as the name of the corporate pension plan you belonged to and estimated future pension benefits. Please keep this notice at hand, together with the government-issued pension book and the membership certificate for the employees' pension fund you belonged to.

We send the above "Information concerning Notification of the Continuation of Pension Benefits" to foreigners residing overseas with a document below explaining how to read the Notice enclosed.

The notice on the takeover from a defined benefit pension plan is called the "Notification of Completion of Transfer."

Request for the reissue of the notice of Pension Takeover

When you request for "Information concerning Notification of the Continuation of Pension Benefits" or "Notification of Completion of Transfer" please send a postcard, etc. with necessary information described below to the Pension Fund Association.

  4. Name of the corporate pension plan you belonged to
  5. Membership Number of Employees' Pension Fund
    (Not necessary for midway seceders from defined benefit pension plans and terminated plan members)
